How did Mel do it?
See and listen for yourself with this blast from the past on the David Letterman Show.

Stephanie

Thanks for posting this Stephanie!
Does anybody know in what year that interview was recorded? Probably before the Buck Rogers show in which Mel Blanc did the voice of twikki was aired or they would have talked about that too.
Hi Philippe,
I believe this was shot circa 1981.
Cheers,
Stephanie
As Don Lafontaine was the King of Trailers, Mel Blanc was the Ultimate 'Toonist! If anybody wants to know one of the main reasons and biggest inspiration for my voiceover career...this is The Man.
I have laughed and I'm STILL laughing at just about anything this guy did. To be able to bring that kind of unbridled joy to people is my greatest desire (I should BE so blessed). Rock on, Mel...
What a joy! Mel never fails to make me laugh and smile. Lots of wannabes out there but no one even comes close. It's a lot easier to imitate than actually create. I know you're out there somewhere Mr.Blanc.Thanks to the master for years of laughs and inspiration. Ed Mace
